Can't get a stadium ticket? You may still be able to watch from a cinema seat. BTS (방탄소년단) takes its world tour ARIRANG to Asia from November 19, and two of those shows, in Kaohsiung and Jakarta, will be screened in cinemas around the world.

Korean broadcaster SBS reported on November 3 that the Kaohsiung and Jakarta concerts will be shown in cinemas in 80 countries, either live or with a delay depending on the local time zone. Here is the schedule by city and what you need to know about the cinema screenings. Dates below come from the official live viewing website and tour announcements, checked in November 2026.

At a glance: Asia leg starts in Kaohsiung on November 19 · cinema live viewing from Kaohsiung on Saturday, November 21 · cinema live viewing from Jakarta on Tuesday, December 29 · sign-ups and updates at btsliveviewing.com

Which shows are coming to cinemas?

The official live viewing website, btsliveviewing.com, lists two events:

  1. Saturday, November 21: live from Kaohsiung
  2. Tuesday, December 29: live from Jakarta

The Jakarta screening is the show on December 29, the date that was added to the original two Jakarta nights. Screening times differ by country because of time zones. SBS reported that some regions will get the show live and others with a delay, so check your local cinema for the exact start time.

How to get a cinema ticket

  • Start with the official site. btsliveviewing.com has a sign-up form for updates. Ticket details for each country are announced separately, so signing up is the easiest way not to miss them.
  • In Korea: the official site links to the event pages of Korea's three big cinema chains, CGV, Lotte Cinema (롯데시네마) and Megabox (메가박스). Check their event pages for screening details.
  • In Japan: AEON Cinema lists the Kaohsiung live viewing for November 21. One of its listings says general sales open at midnight two days before the screening date.
  • Elsewhere: local cinema chains have started listing the Kaohsiung and Jakarta events. Search your cinema's website or app for "ARIRANG live viewing."

Prices and seat maps differ by country and cinema, so check them on the booking page.

Why watch in a cinema?

A live viewing is not a recorded concert film. You watch the show as it happens (or soon after, depending on your time zone) on a big screen with cinema sound, surrounded by other fans. BTS's side said the screenings aim to bring the energy of the stadium to fans outside the venue, according to SBS.

This is also not the first time this tour has gone to cinemas. Earlier shows from Goyang and Tokyo in April and Busan in June had live viewings too.

Tips for a live viewing

  • Check the cinema's rules on lightsticks, standing, cheering and filming before the show. Rules vary from cinema to cinema.
  • Learn the fan chants. Our guide to fan cafés, lightsticks and fan chants explains how they work.
